Antique 1900's Rare B-R Electric & Telephone MFG. Co. Oak Wall Crank Telephone

This is a rare antique wall crank telephone from B&R Electric and Telephone Manufacturing Company.

From the 1900's, this phone box is made of oak wood and the bells are nickel.

The phone has all its parts including arrestor, bells, receiver, transmitter, transmitter arm, 5 bar chrome magneto, switch and the ringer, however, some of the wires are disconnected inside the phone and will need to be reattached.

Inside the box, there are the original attachment instructions for the wires as well as the following numeric information: Stamped into the wood at the bottom of the door is SP317AY also, at the top of the instruction paper it says P-104139 and Issue-3.

The phone back that attaches to the wall measures 20" by 9". The phone box sticks out from the wall about 14.5" including the mouthpiece when extended. The cord on the receiver end measures 40".

There are also three patent dates listed on the receiver December 4, 1900; March 26, 1901; May 20, 1913; and June 3, 1913.

Overall this antique wall crank telephone comes in remarkably great pre-owned condition. It is a rare find indeed.
