|Mask Treasures of Tutankhamun MMA 1976 Museum Sculpture 24 kt. Gold w/ Paperwork|
This is the Mask of Tutankhamun, a one-third scale reproduction from the original in his tomb in Cairo, Egypt.
This beautiful sculpture was featured in the Treasures of Tutankhamun by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
It has a stamp on the inside front of "MMA ©1976". There are no other markings on this sculpture. It measures at approximately 7-1/4" tall, 5" wide across the breastplate, and 5-1/2" from the widest points of the front of the face to the back.
Included are care instructions for the sculpture and a mini pamphlet that describes background information of the exhibit. We included an excerpt of the pamphlet in image #5. It confirms that this reproduction was made of "cast polymer and electroplated with 24 kt. gold."
It comes in amazing condition especially considering the age of the piece and will be a great addition to any collector of ancient Egyptian pieces.
