This is a porcelain plate with a pewter rim by Sebastian Miniatures.
This limited edition plate is from the "There Was A Time" series and is titled "The Doctor".
It features a doctor sitting by a sick child all night waiting for her fever to break.
The plate is number 1964 of 15,000. It was sculpted by Prescott W. Baston in 1980 and measures 6" in diameter.
It is in great pre-owned condition in the original velvet-lined box with an outer sleeve.
