This is a vintage German ceramic beer stein.

The stein is gold with cobalt blue scenes. One scene features a man playing a stringed instrument in his lap as two women and a dog watch. The other two have grape leaves and reads "Froher Sinn U Frischer Trunk" and "Wurzen das leben und haltenjung." Loosely translated it reads "Spice up life and keep young (with) merry spirit and fresh drink".

This stein measures about 9" tall, 5" wide, and 3.75" in diameter and has a metal hinged lid.

It is in good pre-owned condition.
